Read between the lines

An author has power in their words. A book can pull the reader in. It can uplift and inspire. Much of the power in the words is not explicitly spelled out. As a writer, you can paint a picture without saying anything at all. If you trust your reader to pick up on subtlety, the message written between the lines can have a greater impact on the reader than the one you spell out.
